About This Course

This training course is based on the Units of Competency UETDRMP018 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel and HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

This course describes the skills and knowledge required to perform rescue from a live LV panel and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Electrical Safety Regulations and Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

This nationally accredited training consists of both theory and practical sessions

Participants must have a sound knowledge of the English language.

  • Hazard and risk identification and control
  • Electricity isolation
  • Tools and emergency equipment familiarisation and use
  • Procedures and response for rescue from a LV panel
  • Respond to an emergency situation
  • Perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
  • Communicate details of an incident
  • Defibrillator / AED training
