This unit covers the operation of elevating work platforms in the resources and infrastructure industries. It qualifies the participant to gain a nationally recognised EWP competency card. The card indicates that you have been trained to safely operate various types of EWPs, 11 meters or lower. Participants will receive specific training in the scissor lift, an aerial platform that provides more space than a regular boom-type EWP and can be raised or lowered but has no ability to slew or telescope.

This nationally accredited training consists of both theory and practical sessions.

Participants must have a sound knowledge of the English language.
